Discipleship

Jesus didn’t just tell his disciples what to do. He showed them by example. He didn’t just show them and walk away either. He intentionally formed intimate relationships with them. He got to know them on a personal level and invited them to know Him in the same way. They shared life. They talked about what happened in life, and examined their actions and emotions in light of Jesus’ teachings to help them become more and more like Him.

We want to follow Jesus’ example by intentionally forming the same kind of intimate relationships with one another that He had with His disciples. We’re focusing on the IN dimension of the UP/IN/OUT Jesus shaped life, and we’re inviting you to join us.

Here we go!

October 28, 2023

We had 14 people show up to our first “Dig IN!” event last Saturday.

Together we learned that to model Jesus’ example we need to intentionally build open, honest relationships with fellow disciples and let the love of Christ himself flow through us. Then we took the first step by connecting one to one and committing to form just that type of relationship with each other. It takes a little effort and can be a bit awkward at first, but the payoff is a beautiful thing that brings us closer to Christian maturity.

We’re going to walk down this road together, sharing our experiences along the way. If you weren’t able to make it, stay tuned for a future event where you can join us!
